Supported redirect sources

  • Shopify storefront paths that can be evaluated by the app's storefront handling.
  • Imported CSV rules after validation and review.
  • 404 opportunity paths surfaced by app-owned storefront detection.

Supported destinations

  • Storefront-relative paths such as /collections/sale or /pages/size-guide.
  • Approved external domains when the merchant intentionally allowlists them.
  • Shopify URL redirect targets when a rule can be synchronized to Shopify native redirects.

Operational limits

  • Redirect rules must avoid loops, unsafe destinations, and conflicts with Shopify or theme behavior.
  • Some Shopify-controlled checkout, account, admin, or platform paths are outside the app's storefront control.
  • Theme extension and app proxy setup can affect whether storefront handling is active.
