This Privacy Policy explains how Taimanle operates TML URL Redirect for Shopify merchants. It is a practical founder-reviewed policy for the app and public website, not a lawyer-approved legal opinion.

Data We Process

When a merchant installs or uses TML URL Redirect, the app may process:

• Shopify shop identifiers, shop domain, app installation/session data, access scopes, and authentication records needed to operate the app.
• Redirect rule data entered by the merchant, including rule titles, source URLs or paths, destination URLs, enabled status, sync status, redirect counts, and timestamps.
• App settings such as redirect mode, sync state, external destination allowlist settings, subscription or plan status, and related operational timestamps.
• Redirect sync records and sanitized error details needed to troubleshoot Shopify URL redirect synchronization.
• Storefront 404 opportunity data in aggregated or minimized form, such as canonical paths, hit counts, confidence/status fields, referrer category counts, and timestamps.
• Pseudonymous support activity records for authenticated merchant actions, such as route, action, status, request id, duration, and sanitized metadata.
• Contact details a merchant sends directly to support by email.

TML URL Redirect is designed for redirect management. We do not intentionally collect customer names, customer email addresses, payment card details, order contents, or marketing analytics through this public website. We do not currently run website analytics.

How We Use Data

We use the data above to:

• Provide and maintain redirect management features.
• Authenticate the app through Shopify and respect the scopes granted by the merchant.
• Create, update, review, import, export, and synchronize redirect rules.
• Help merchants troubleshoot redirect behavior, sync failures, and setup questions.
• Manage app plan/subscription state through Shopify.
• Protect the app, detect abuse, and keep operational logs useful for support and reliability.
• Respond to support, privacy, and data deletion requests.

Shopify Data And Platform Services

TML URL Redirect runs as a Shopify app and uses Shopify APIs, app platform services, app billing, app proxy, and theme extension features where applicable. Shopify acts as the commerce platform for the merchant store and may independently process data under Shopify’s own terms and privacy policies.

We also use trusted hosting, database, and operational service providers to run the app and public website. We do not publish internal infrastructure identifiers, database hostnames, keys, project ids, or security configuration details.

Data Location

App data is stored in Singapore. Data may also be processed by Shopify and trusted service providers in locations needed to provide their services.

Retention

We retain app data while the app is installed and while it is needed to provide the service, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

When a merchant uninstalls the app or sends a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize shop-scoped app data where reasonably possible. Some limited records may remain for a short period in backups, logs, billing records, or security records where retention is needed for reliability, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Pseudonymous support activity records are intended to be short-lived unless needed for an active support, security, or legal matter.

Merchants can request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing support@taimanle.com. We may need to verify the requesting shop or account before fulfilling a request.

Security

We use practical administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect app data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. Merchants should avoid sending secrets, access tokens, customer data, or other sensitive information in redirect rule titles, URLs, support messages, or CSV files unless it is necessary for support.

Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for the redirects they create, destination URLs they allow, and any personal data they choose to include in URLs, paths, filenames, or support messages. Merchants should ensure their own privacy notices cover their storefront behavior and any apps they install.

Children

TML URL Redirect is intended for Shopify merchants and business users. It is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date on this page shows the latest version.
