What does TML URL Redirect do?
It helps Shopify merchants create, review, import, export, and manage redirect rules for storefront URL cleanup and migration workflows.
Does it replace Shopify native URL redirects?
No. Shopify native redirects are still useful. TML URL Redirect helps with app-controlled storefront handling and workflows that need more review, import, external destination, or troubleshooting support.
Why do I need the theme extension?
The theme extension lets the app participate in storefront behavior. If it is not enabled on the active theme, storefront redirect handling may not run.
Can redirects go to external websites?
Yes, when the destination domain is intentionally allowlisted by the merchant. This keeps external redirects controlled instead of open-ended.
Can I import redirects?
Yes. Use CSV import for bulk migrations and review validation results before relying on a large redirect set.
Where do I get support?
Email support@taimanle.com with your shop domain, a brief description, and example source and destination URLs. Do not send passwords, tokens, or customer data.
