TML Release Check privacy notice
Last updated on October 4, 2026
TML Release Check is operated by Taimanle. This notice covers the Release Check Shopify app and the browser checks merchants request. Contact support@taimanle.com for privacy or support questions.
Data used
- Shop and authentication information: shop identifiers/domain, granted scopes, installation status, authenticated Shopify app sessions and access tokens. Shopify’s authentication integration may include staff/account identity metadata needed to establish the session. We do not use that identity for advertising.
- Store configuration: store/domain and theme identifiers or names, merchant-selected page paths, selected product/variant identifiers, expected cart quantities, and supported browser-control configuration used for the requested check.
- Preview access: theme-preview information needed to load a selected draft. This is used for execution, with sensitive values removed from report text and logs. Do not provide customer credentials or unrelated secrets.
- Report and browser evidence: run identifiers, queue status, timestamps, configured scope, named check results, error classifications, and screenshots/comparison images of the selected storefront pages. Screenshots can include any content displayed on those pages; select test data and avoid pages displaying personal or confidential information.
- Allowance and operational information: shop-scoped run counts/timestamps used to enforce the pilot limit, and limited operational logs needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Support correspondence: information you choose to send us.
The app does not intentionally collect customer profiles, order histories, payment details, or real shopper sessions. It does not add tracking to merchant visitors. Automated browser sessions load the selected storefront and its existing assets/apps, which may communicate with services used by that storefront. Our test browser may create a temporary cart; it does not place an order or complete a payment.
Purposes and providers
We use the data to authenticate the installed shop, verify ownership of permitted targets, run the merchant’s configured checks, generate and display reports/evidence, enforce limits, prevent abuse, and respond to support/privacy requests. Report access is restricted to the authenticated installed shop; the pilot does not provide public report sharing.
Shopify provides authentication and store API services. Railway provides application hosting and persistent storage. Vercel provides isolated browser processing of configured storefront pages and screenshot evidence. GitHub hosts the private application source code. Processing may occur in countries where these providers operate; this service does not promise processing in a single country. Release Check does not send reports or screenshot content to an AI service. We do not sell app data or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
Reports and screenshot evidence expire 14 days after creation. Expired evidence is no longer available through the app. The worker removes expired report data and evidence during its scheduled cleanup. Cleanup is checked between browser jobs, at approximately one-minute intervals when idle; an active job or service outage can delay physical cleanup. Run-count records may remain for up to 31 days to enforce the rolling 30-day allowance even after a report expires.
Uninstalling immediately disables the installation and removes app authentication sessions. Reports remain subject to the retention period unless Shopify’s shop-redaction webhook or a verified deletion request removes them sooner. The shop-redaction process deletes shop-scoped app records and evidence. Shopify’s mandatory customer-data request/redaction webhooks are handled even though the app does not intentionally maintain customer records. Operational logs or provider backups, if any, follow their separate operational retention and may not disappear at the same instant as active records.
Contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of app data. We verify the requester’s authority before releasing shop data. If you believe a screenshot contains your personal information, identify the store and relevant report if known; we can coordinate with the authorized merchant without asking you to send unnecessary personal information.
Merchant responsibilities and safeguards
Use authorized stores and non-sensitive test products/pages. Do not enter passwords, API tokens, personal customer data, or unrelated credentials in configuration or support messages. The app uses Shopify authentication, tenant-scoped report/evidence access, URL/network restrictions, and isolated browser sessions. These safeguards do not make storefront content automatically free of sensitive information.
Changes
We may update this notice when the app or providers change. The date above identifies this version. Release Check support · Terms of use
